The #ChileFjords18 project aimed to discover the timing of ice fluctuations of the Gran Campo Nevado (52-53 °S) during the last Ice Age. On 2 November 2018, the #ChileFjords18 team boarded the Mariz Paz II at a small port outside of Punta Arenas and embarked on a two week land-sea expedition around the remote fjords of South West Chile.
