Following the South Region presentations by Lisa Allen and Luke Parker on the support provided by OS and MOD to the response to the Covid-19 pandemic, there will an opportunity for a detailed discussion on the topic.
This will take the form of a panel session with the two speakers joined by two additional panellists – Jonathan Simmons who is Ordnance Survey’s Head of Data Science and Analytics, and a speaker from MOD - who will bring different perspectives. There will be an opportunity to discuss with the panel more technical, policy or professional issues raised.
The session will be hosted on Zoom to allow a more interactive event. This will follow the two presentations which will be broadcast on GoToWebinar.
You will need to sign up for both events separately and will receive joining instructions for both separately.
[Online] Captain Luke Parker and Lisa Allen, Head of Data and Analytical Services at Ordnance Survey, will look at how coronavirus has thrust locational data and geospatial analysis onto the world stage, enabling both governmental and defence responses.
