This session will focus upon GCSE content for teaching about UK landscapes. This is core to all GCSE Geography specifications. The session will focus upon:
An overview of UK physical landscapes – relief and geology, river basins
Factors contributing to upland and lowland landscapes
River landscapes (process and change)
This course may particularly appeal to:
Those who are new to teaching – or are ‘returners’ – and would like a refresher on new content at GCSE
Human geographers who wish to refresh their knowledge of physical processes at this level
Non-geographers who are teaching GCSE and wish to receive some subject content training in physical geography
The course will be led by Bob Digby.
This training will be delivered online and will last for approximately two and a half hours in total, with a break (or breaks). Delegates will be sent a link to join the course by email. This may not be sent immediately after booking, but it will arrive prior to the course.
