Join the committee to celebrate another successful year for the Society’s North West Region.
We intend to run this event at Merewood, in accordance with social distancing guidelines and government regulations. Due to the uncertainty of how these regulations may change by November, we are running a waiting list for this event, and will be contacting people for payment once we can confirm the event is going ahead.
To be added to the list to reserve your place, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Our annual North West dinners are always enjoyable events, featuring outstanding speakers. This year we’re delighted to welcome Mike Berners-Lee, expert in greenhouse gas footprinting and organisation development. Mike is author of There is No Planet B: A Handbook for the Make or Break Years, How Bad Are Bananas? The carbon footprint of everything and co-author of The Burning Question. Mike is a Professor at Lancaster University.
Mike will also be speaking to students of geography and related disciplines in secondary schools across Cumbria, with Queen Katherine School in Kendal hosting the event. The event will be face-to-face if government guidance allows; otherwise it will be live streamed. If you would like to know more, please contact us by emailing email@example.com
