11.00am-1.00pm
This practical workshop is for anyone looking to get their field research project, scientific expeditions, environmental project or adventure funded. No fundraising knowledge or previous experience is required or expected.
Craig will point you in the right direction, guide you step-by-step through the process of real-life fundraising, and show you exactly what you need to do next to get funding to turn your idea into reality. You will leave this session with a prioritised list of your most likely donors, outlines of your top funding priorities, a draft pitch for each one, and a list people to meet in the coming weeks to talk about funding.
There will be a short practical assignment to complete and submit after the course, participants who complete this will receive a joint RGS-IBG Fundraising Radicals course certificate.
Places: Limited to 16 participants, so book now to avoid disappointment.
Course tutor
Craig Pollard lives on the island of Okinawa, in Japan. He is a well-known global fundraising consultant and trainer of new and reluctant fundraisers. He is the Founder, Author and Tutor of Fundraising Radicals. During 25+ years in fundraising, Craig has guided hundreds of charities, nonprofits, expeditions, and projects across more than seventy countries, to raise more than $250 million. Among these are his own expeditions and projects, including a 17,000km cycle ride from London to Cape Town (raised $100,000+). This year he has raised $10,000 to set up a traditional Okinawan dragon boat racing club, and is fundraising right now to build a sea-turtle sanctuary on a local beach.
