Online, via Teams
In this online session, we will be asking geography teachers to share their ideas and innovations with the teacher community.
Teachmeets are a great way to find out what fellow teachers are doing in the classroom and beyond. Delegates will be able to view around seven individual sessions from a variety of geography teachers, and take away a range of ideas, resources and experiences. A great way to mingle with the geographical community online!
We are asking geography teachers to either register as a delegate (just a viewer of the session) or as a speaker (to present a short session during the event). We have seven speaker spaces available, and speakers will be contacted by the Society about the content of their presentation once they have registered. Please only register as a speaker if you are sure you are able to present a session.
Delegates will be sent details of how to access the event approximately a week before the event. If this email does not reach you, please contact us before the day of the event.
Please note that this event has limited capacity - by booking a space and subsequently not attending you are preventing another teacher from participating. Please only book if you are sure you will be attending.
This event is recognised by the Society as being suitable professional development for Chartered Geographer and may also be suitable for other professional accreditations
