Join us to find out more about how to make the most of university open days. We will provide you with ideas for researching your chosen universities before you visit, opportunities for virtual visits and more, and will then take you through the top tips and best questions to ask during your open day visits to make the most of your time there and explore whether the university and geography course really is for you. This event is aimed at students but teachers are welcome to attend and will find the content useful in supporting students who wish to study geography at university. Parents are also welcome to attend. Joining information Delegates will be sent details of how to access the event approximately a week before the event. [In-person] This workshop for secondary school geography teachers, led by Esri UK, will provide an insight into using ArcGIS for fieldwork and the NEA.
[In-person] An opportunity for Key Stage 3 students to hear about the importance of choosing geography from trained Geography Ambassadors and Geography Professionals who aim to excite and engage students.
[In-person] This course gives trained EVCs the opportunity to revalidate while looking at current issues and sharing good practice.
[In-person] This CPD event is for teachers with little or no previous GIS experience.
