The Spatial Data Science Conference (now in its fourth year) is the leading event bringing together Data Scientists and Developers who specialize in working with spatial data. Founded in 2017, by CARTO and the University of Chicago’s Center for Spatial Data Science, this event unites specialists from the public and private sector, as well as academia, who are engaged in using spatial modeling and spatial methods for a day of talks and discussion, as well as a series of technical workshops.
This will be the first edition of the event to be held in London, after 3 years of rapid growth hosting the event in New York at CARTO's headquarters and Columbia University.
Speakers at previous editions have included Uber, Facebook, Airbnb, WeWork, Sidewalk Labs, Mastercard, Waze, Instacart and CARTO and the event's academic partners include MIT, CASA (UCL) and the University of Liverpool. Supporters of the event have also included TomTom, Elastic, Salesforce, Google, Enigma, AWS, DataRobot and Safegraph.
