Bideford is an historic port town and much of its maritime history still exists, which you will see on the heritage walk. Additionally Bideford has a magnificent medieval bridge which has been maintained by a local charity known as the Bridge Trust. The Trust continues today and its work and history will be explained on a visit to the Trust Room.
