This exhibition showcases stunning photographs of the legendary Transglobe Expedition (1979–1982), captured by distinguished photographer Bryn Campbell.

Commissioned by The Observer newspaper, Bryn documented the daring circumnavigation of the globe from Pole to Pole, led by Sir Ranulph Fiennes and his team. Though access to the most remote areas was impossible, Bryn’s travels aboard the MV Benjamin Bowring and the expedition’s Twin Otter supply aircraft allowed him to reach the team and immortalize unique moments of their extraordinary journey, many taken in harsh sub-zero conditions.

This exhibition is open to members only. If you are not a Member or Fellow of the Society and wish to view the exhibition, please contact director@rgs.org.
