With over twenty years working as a freelance photographer, there aren’t many photographic situations that Nick hasn’t experienced. During that time he has travelled to over 80 countries, from the desert to the city, the mountains, the sea and everything in between.
Nick will speak about his life as a lead photographer on numerous expeditions across the world, including Mongolia, Central Asia, India and North America. Illustrated with Nick’s stunning images, Nick will provide an insight into the creative, technical, navigational and organisation skills required to capture the shots on these trips.
About the speaker
Nick Dimbleby has been a freelance photographer for over 20 years, travelling to over 80 countries. As lead photographer in some of the world’s most challenging environments, he has learnt to deal with extreme conditions, always delivering stunning images for a range of clients.

Booking information 

Advance booking for this event is required. Tickets are £5, and free for RGS-IBG members and students. Students can book free tickets by entering the code Student at checkout. Venue information 

The event will be held in the Great Hall at The Leys School, Trumpington Road, Cambridge, CB2 7AD.

Doors open at 7.00pm and the lecture will begin at 7.30pm. Drinks will be available before and after the lecture.

Parking is not available on the school site. Please use available local parking.
