Catherine has undertaken extensive fieldwork in East Africa and is the founder of Oxford University’s Fieldwork Network. She leads work to better support and connect fieldworkers across the University, and lobbying for institutional change towards easier, more equitable and safer fieldwork adventures.

Marlon Clark
A field Research scientist working at Basecamp Research, a multidisciplinary international team utilising cutting-edge DNA technologies, Machine Learning, and data engineering to discover new biochemistries from nature.

Meagan Neal
Meagan is the Executive Director of the Transcaucasian Trail Association, leading the development of the new Transcaucasian Trail (TCT) that winds through the stunning Caucasus Mountains of Armenia, Georgia, and Azerbaijan.

Nadine Greenhalgh
Nadine is a Biodiversity Partnerships Manager at London based biotechnology company Basecamp Research.

Nazrin Garibova
Nazrin is the Trails Manager for the Transcaucasian Trail in Azerbaijan, where she aims to turn ancient migratory routes into a network of accessible hiking trails spanning the Greater Caucasus Mountains.

Poppy Burgess
Poppy Burgess is an undergraduate at The University of St Andrews who has a passion for ethical and inclusive fieldwork.
