The Society’s next Annual International Conference will be held at the Society in London from Tuesday 27 to Friday 30 August 2019, and the call for sessions, papers and posters is now open.
Our Annual International Conference is the largest annual academic geography conference in Europe, with over 1,800 delegates from 60 countries taking part in close to 400 academic sessions.
This year’s conference will be chaired by Professor Hester Parr of the University of Glasgow, who has chosen the theme Geographies of trouble/geographies of hope. Sessions and papers engaging directly with this theme are encouraged, as well as others focusing on all areas of geography. Anyone from the geographical and related communities is welcome to propose a session, paper or poster.
The deadline for submissions is Friday 15 February 2019.
