Congratulations to the 17 Society Fellows who were recently awarded Chartered Geographer status by Council. This brings the number of Chartered Geographers approved this year to 59 and the total number approved since the formation of the scheme in 2002 to over 1,000.
The latest CGeog cohort demonstrates the range of roles, sectors and expertise represented by professionals applying geographical knowledge, skills and understanding in the workplace across the world. The application of geography in professional settings continues to develop and we are committed to recognising and supporting vital roles that geographers contribute to their professions.
