Join the North West regional committee for a panel discussion and Q&A with some of the winning photographers and filmmakers of the Earth Photo competition on Thursday 25 February.
Developed jointly with Forestry England, Earth Photo is an annual competition which aims to enable a better understanding of the world around us. The 2020 competition explored the themes of People, Place, Nature, Changing Forests, and the newly introduced category A Climate of Change.
Hosted by Rob Fraser FRGS, a member of the North West regional committee, and former Landscape Photographer of the Year, this online event is a chance to gain insight into the stories behind the winning photographs, and learn from our award-winning panel about how to inform and entertain audiences with photography on topical issues.
Our panel includes Jonk, the overall winner of the Earth Photo 2020 competition; Joe Habben, winner of the 2020 category A Climate of Change; Vron Harris, who judged the competition in 2020 and won the film category in 2018; Mark Holroyd, who is Head of Recreation and Communications for Forestry England in the North of England; and Elisabetta Zavoli, the overall winner of the Earth Photo 2019 competition.
Earth Photo: in conversation with winning photographers will take place at 6.30pm on Thursday 25 February. So, what are you waiting for? Book now.
