Geography courses at Oxford Brookes University have become the latest to be recognised by the Society’s programme accreditation scheme. The BA and BSc geography programmes have been awarded accreditation in the latest cycle, after completing all necessary review processes.
Dr Abbey Halcli (Oxford Brookes University) said, “We are so pleased that our BA/BSc geography programmes have received Society accreditation.
"This is a positive reflection on the commitment of the geography staff at Oxford Brookes University to deliver a high quality and student-focused programme that develops and promotes geographical knowledge and prepares geography graduates for the future.”
Through the accreditation scheme, the Society recognises good practice in geography learning and teaching across UK higher education, while supporting continuous quality improvement and promoting good student outcomes across the sector.
The next deadline for accreditation applications (for both undergraduate and master’s programmes) is 30 September 2022.
