We are inviting nominations from Fellows for a number of Council positions to be elected in June 2022.
There are 21 representatives on Council who are nominated, and then elected, by our Fellows. The expertise and interests of our Council members represent the main areas of our activity and bring a breadth of experience from the wider world. The Council is chaired by our President, Nigel Clifford.
Nominees should be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of the Society, an understanding of, and support for, the breadth of our activities and audiences, and have experience and seniority relevant to the position they are standing for.
The following positions are open for nominations:
Expeditions and Fieldwork
Research and Higher Education
Chair of Annual Conference for 2023 (one year position on Council)
The deadline for Council nominations is 9.00am on Thursday 24 March 2022.
So if you know of someone who would be a good candidate for one of our Council positions, find out more and how to make a nomination.
