
We are inviting nominations from Fellows for a number of Council positions to be elected in June 2021, including the next President of the Society.
There are 21 members of Council, each of whom is nominated, and then elected, by our Fellows. The expertise and interests of our Council members represent the main areas of our activity and bring a breadth of experience from the wider world. The Council is chaired by our President.
Nominees should be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of the Society, an understanding of, and support for, the breadth of our activities and audiences, and have experience and seniority relevant to the position they are standing for.
The following positions are open for nominations:
President
The current President’s term of office comes to an end in June 2021. The Council has established a Search Committee to lead the search for Society’s candidate for the next President. The Search Committee invites all Fellows and members to suggest names of any Fellows who could succeed Baroness Chalker.
