The Society’s primary school geography resources have been awarded 3 stars as part of the Teach Primary Resource Awards 2018.
The online resources for Key Stages 1 and 2 comprise over 90 schemes of work, subject knowledge animations, fieldwork ideas, and curriculum planning documents. The Society’s new website has made these resources much easier to access and teachers can now search them by topic, type of resource or age range. The resources were largely created in partnership with teachers who were involved with the Society’s project Geography: a subject hub for London, which was supported by the GLA.
From over 450 nominated resources, 55 finalists were shortlisted and 33 of these selected for awards by a panel of primary subject experts.
