This new publication closely follows a refresh of RGS School Membership and Student Membership, aimed at broadening access to high-quality geography education and careers support for young people. This September saw the introduction of a lower price for RGS School Membership, which now costs just £50 per school per year. As well as free digital access to Geography Today, School Members receive a digital subscription to Geographical magazine, and discounts on equipment, atlases, teacher CPD, fieldwork CPD and residentials for students (including those offered through our partnership with Field Studies Council).

Each year, the RGS also hosts three curriculum-linked School Member lectures with geographical experts, A Level study days and a variety of interactive sessions where students can debate and develop their thinking on geographical concepts, such as our model COP climate summit, which will be held on 25 November.

Additionally, since 1 September, RGS Student Membership has been free for all students from KS4 through to undergraduate level. Student Members can access support and resources, community and networking events, as well as study and exam support, events and webinars on securing work experience, the university application process, and geographical careers in a variety of sectors.
