Chatham House’s mission is to address geopolitical challenges and international problems. They offer up to 10 fellowships per year to early and mid-career leaders, supporting the development of future policymakers with the ambition of driving positive change in world affairs.
Fellowships provide the opportunity to develop in four key areas:
- Knowledge: develop a deep understanding of a policy challenge and how it might be overcome through research
- Skills: acquire leadership skills through workshops and training
- Networking: work with leading experts in international affairs and build lasting connections
- Self awareness: build confidence, communication and presentation skills through one-to-one coaching, media training and public speaking
The curriculum is divided into three elements:
- 60% working on a personal research project
- 20% participating in the Leadership Masterclass Programme, and
- 20% contributing to Chatham House research activities
