The Enhanced Weathering Africa Partnership (EWAP) Project is committed to promoting Enhanced Weathering as a viable climate solution across Africa. It aims to empower communities and stakeholders to adopt sustainable practises that combat climate change.
Stakeholder engagement
EWAP connects farmers, researchers, industry, finance, and policymakers to build a coordinated ecosystem for enhanced weathering in Africa. By fostering collaboration across sectors, solutions are locally relevant, scientifically robust, and aligned with African agricultural realities.
Supply chain optimisation
EWAP supports efficient and responsible enhanced weathering supply chains. By linking quarry operators, EW practitioners, and farmers, they help reduce costs, improve logistics, and enable scalable climate and soil solutions.
Knowledge Hub
EWAP acts as a central knowledge hub for enhanced weathering in Africa, generating and sharing evidence to support responsible scale-up. Through research, training, and accessible resources, they help to reduce uncertainty and build capacity across the region.
