I am a sustainable water management professional with expertise in river restoration, sustainable drainage systems (SuDS), flood risk management, and planning.
I provide technical advice to local authorities and developers, drawing on extensive experience in geomorphology, hydraulic processes, and environmental assessment, alongside doctoral research into nature-based solutions for river restoration.

As a Sustainable Water Management Consultant I deliver flood risk management projects, SuDS projects, and river restoration projects across the UK.
I provide technical advice to Lead Local Flood Authorities, developers, water companies and local authorities on SuDS, flood risk assessments, planning applications, and water management strategies, supporting sustainable development and resilient catchment-based solutions.
Why I want to become a professional ambassador
I am passionate about promoting the value of geography in addressing environmental challenges. Being an RGS Professional Ambassador allows me to inspire others, share practical career insights, and encourage the next generation to pursue rewarding careers in geography. I have been supported greatly by the RGS and I want to give back.
Previous experience
I have previously been a geography ambassador throughout my time at university. I also work in outreach getting disabled children into sport.
