Richard has over 20 years experience working with ESRI software, producing maps and managing projects. He is a geospatial data expert, with a degree in Geography and Cartography (BSc).

About

I am currently the Head of RSK Digital & Geospatial Services, with well over 20 years’ experience in all aspects of cartography, geospatial analysis, GIS and data management. My professional experience covers the production of maps and GIS datasets, managing GIS projects and data and delivering spatial data to clients in both the public and private sector.

I currently run the RSK Digital & Geospatial Services Business Unit at RSK Group, leading on best practice for expert GIS and digital support to environmental services and consultancy.

I am a volunteer support to Girlguiding Leeds.

Why I want to become a professional ambassador

Having had a thoroughly enjoyable and varied career in geography, I am looking to inspire the next generation of geographers and provide some valuable insight into the importance of GIS careers.
