Joe Ravetz 

Joe Ravetz is Co-Director of the Collaboratory for Urban Resilience & Energy at the Manchester Urban Institute, University of Manchester. With a background as an architect, planner and development manager, he is an expert on environment-climate policy, urban planning and design. Here he discusses the methods and tools needed to develop the future of cities. 

 

Professor Alison Brown

Professor Alison Brown is Professor of Urban Planning and International Development in the School of Geography and Planning at Cardiff University. Alison specialises in informal urban economies, social inclusion, the right to the city and international planning practices. Here she discusses the challenges of ensuring the cities of tomorrow are inclusive for everyone who lives there. 

 

Professor Tim Schwanen

Professor Tim Schwanen is the Director of the Transport Studies Unit in the School of Geography and Environment at the University of Oxford. Tim's research concentrates on the geographies of the everyday mobilities of people, goods and information, including low-carbon mobilities and cities. Here he talks about the importance of urban mobility and transport policies in future cities.
