Applying for RGS-IBG grants

Are you a postgraduate geography student based in the UK and considering applying for one of the Society’s academic grants? This webinar is designed to help you understand the process and put together a strong, competitive application.

The Society’s Grants Officer, Dr Sarah Henton De Angelis, will be joined by a panel of former grant recipients to share practical advice drawn from their own successful applications.

We’ll cover key topics including how to make your application stand out, how to develop realistic and well‑justified costings in line with UK research funding expectations, and who to approach for academic references or support. There will also be plenty of time for audience questions.
