This webinar is aimed at secondary school students and teachers to showcase how Ecosystems units taught at KS3, GCSE and A Level link to real-world jobs for geographers.
Students will hear from a panel of professionals working in the conservation sector about how they use geographical skills and knowledge taught in the geography classroom in their jobs ranging from Ecologist to Countryside Ranger.
Students will have the opportunity to ask professionals questions about their career pathway, and learn more about why geography is a fantastic choice for those looking to access a career in conservation.
The webinar contributes to Gatsby Benchmarks 4 (Linking curriculum learning to careers) and 5 (Encounters with employers and employees).
This webinar is run in collaboration with the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM).
