Meet our speakers

Professor Mark Pelling is Professor in Risk and Disaster Reduction at University College London. Mark researches climate risks, adaptation, and disaster management, focusing on how societies prepare for and respond to environmental change.

Kristen Guida is Head of Strategy, Prevention and Community Resilience at the Greater London Authority. Kristen leads on London’s resilience strategy, including policy, planning, and practical measures to protect communities against climate hazards.

Dr Nina Seega is Director at the Centre for Sustainable Finance at the University of Cambridge. Nina’s work focuses on how financial systems can support climate adaptation and resilience.
