Discover the stories, geography and discoveries emerging from fieldwork and expeditions around the world. This exhibition brings together a range of research outputs, offering different ways to explore the places, people and ideas shaping exploration today.

From research supported by Society grants, to immersive audio experiences that transport you directly to the sites of fieldwork, the exhibition invites you to step into the world of today’s explorers and experience their work in new ways. Discover art and photography from members of our Art of Exploration Collective, alongside contributions from researchers, creatives and other expedition participants working across the globe.

Through these varied perspectives and creative approaches, the exhibition celebrates the many ways that research and exploration can be shared, experienced and brought to life, revealing the stories behind the journeys and the discoveries that emerge from them.
