Polar lecture: finding of Shackleton's Endurance

This Polar Lecture covers the search for Sir Ernest Shackleton's lost ship Endurance from inception in 2012 through to the discovery of the wreck in 2022, on the seabed of the Weddell Sea, Antarctica, given by renowned maritime archaeologist, Mensun Bound.

At the end of the presentation there will be the unveiling of a new 3D digital model of the wreck on the seabed that attendees will be able to study in detail at their leisure.

This fundraising lecture is in support of the Friends of the Scott Polar Research Institute.
