About the book
Some places on Earth are disappearing before our eyes. Midnight Sun is a photography book by award-winning polar specialists Sue Flood and Ian Dawson, photographers with a shared commitment to the polar regions, and a body of work that reflects decades of scientific, artistic, and documentary practice.
Through ethical storytelling and professional integrity, their breathtaking images capture the landscapes, ice, and the people and wildlife who call these frozen worlds home.
Inspired by Sir David Attenborough’s belief that we protect only what we love, this collection aims to promote a deeper understanding and motivate meaningful action to protect the natural world.
