Peer review is a central part of academic geography, particularly when it comes to publishing journal articles. This webinar introduces the purpose and process of peer review and explores how to both give and receive feedback effectively.
We will discuss how to provide constructive, supportive, and critical feedback on others’ work, as well as how to interpret and respond to reviewers’ comments on your own research.
The session will also cover common challenges, such as dealing with conflicting feedback or critical reviews, and how to use feedback to strengthen your writing and arguments. There will be practical tips and time for questions.
