In this free, online session, Rachel Hawke will discuss how to use the enquiry approach to build a KS3 geography curriculum, giving examples of how to do this practically. We will also explore how can the tension between the enquiry approach and a knowledge rich curriculum be bridged.

About the speaker

Rachel Hawke is a secondary school Head of Geography in Devon and is also a lead subject mentor for geography at a SCITT provider. She is a Chartered Geographer and Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, as well as co-chair of the Exeter Geographical Association branch.
