Andy Hodgson is an ocean rower and television Assistant Producer. In 2018, he set a world record as the first person to row solo around Great Britain, and in 2023 crossed the Atlantic with fellow rower Rosalind Chaston. Together, they have since continued exploring the British coastline by rowing boat and he has now accumulated more than 365 days at sea in rowing boats.
Alongside his own expeditions, Andy helps others prepare for adventures at sea, drawing on his experience of expedition planning, weather forecasting, and problem-solving for life on the water. He has supported multiple expeditions including a world-first circumnavigation of Ireland and coaching for Rannoch's Roxy programme
