Ann Daniels is a world record holder and has sledge hauled over 2,000 miles, in the most inhospitable environments on earth completing over 10 polar expeditions and surviving over 400 days on the ice.
She was deeply honoured when Pen Hadow asked her to be the ice leader of his high profile scientific Catlin Arctic surveys, the first British expedition to be granted a Royal Pennant since Shackleton was granted permission to fly the Union flag for his South expedition.
She has worked with NASA, The European Space Agency and other scientific institutions globally, tracking and measuring ice and collecting data at the extreme ends of the planet, to help understand the environmental impact humans are having on the world.
