At the age of 21, Ben’s passion for expeditions, travel and filmmaking took off after Covid. Since then, he has travelled both solo and with others to more than 60 countries, from South Korea to Brazil, Australia to Africa, and Indonesia to Pakistan.
He sees life through a filmmaker’s lens, with a particular passion for capturing unique perspectives through FPV drone footage. Social media has helped him build a career around travel, filmmaking and adventure, with collaborations alongside fellow explorers leading him to extraordinary places, hair-raising scrapes and, above all, a deeper understanding of humanity and the world around him.
Highlights of Ben’s travels and expeditions include trekking and filming Russ Cook, aka the Hardest Geezer, on a journey to the UK’s most remote pub; collaborating with social media influencer Joe Weller to ascend three of Indonesia’s most active volcanoes — Mount Merapi, Mount Dukono and Mount Ibu; and completing a 500-mile journey by rickshaw from Kochi to Goa in India, raising money for a children’s charity along the way.
His adventures have also seen him flying FPV drones around the favelas of Rio de Janeiro and surfing the dunes of Namibia.
Most recently, Ben returned from two horseback expeditions. The first was a six-day trek across the Shandur Plateau in Pakistan, followed by a 100-mile ride through the Caucasus Mountains of Georgia, covering roughly a third of the country in seven days.
Having explored six of the world’s seven continents, Antarctica is now firmly on his list.
Ben runs his own filming and editing brand, combining his passion for travel, adventure and storytelling. At the age of 25, he hopes to inspire other young people to follow their dreams, have faith in humanity, witness the beauty of the planet, work hard and enjoy plenty of laughs along the way.
For those seeking adventure closer to home, Ben regards the Isle of Skye as one of his favourite destinations. Above all, he considers it a privilege to have had the opportunity to explore so much of the world and share those experiences through film.
