Dan Paling is a journalist based in London. His recent work includes investigating industrial pollution in the UK, adapting environmental stories for television and radio, and doing fieldwork on birds. He has worked as a researcher, audio producer and gardener. He won the Orwell Society/NUJ Young Journalist’s Award in 2024.
