Jo Bradshaw is an Everest and Seven Summiteer who draws on nearly 20 years of experience working in the outdoors as an Expedition Leader, Outdoor Instructor, Leadership Coach and Keynote Speaker. Specialising in high-altitude expeditions, she has led almost 100 expeditions above 5,000m.

Her experience spans some of the world’s most remote and challenging environments. Alongside leading predominantly trekking expeditions, Jo has led cycling journeys, ridden horseback across the Andes and worked as a field guide in Antarctica, where she spent 26 days on Wiencke Island as part of a small team restoring and repainting Damoy Hut, a British Antarctic heritage site.

Jo has led 38 expeditions on Kilimanjaro and has extensive experience on Nepal’s high-altitude peaks. Her work also includes leading overseas school expeditions and teaching the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award in the UK, supporting young people to develop confidence, resilience and independence through outdoor adventure. She also supports aspiring adventurers through expedition planning, advice and guidance, helping them navigate the practicalities and challenges of their own journeys.

Jo did not discover this world of adventure until her late thirties. Since then, she has packed an extraordinary amount into her life, building a career around exploration, challenging perceived limits and helping others discover what they are capable of achieving.

Alongside her expedition work, Jo draws on her experiences in the mountains to deliver leadership development and coaching, bringing practical insights from demanding environments into the world of leadership, teamwork and personal growth.

She is also the creator, expedition leader and executive producer of the award-winning documentary More Than A Mountain. The film follows 15 women aged 29 to 71 on their journey to the summit of Yala Peak, Nepal, as they walk in the footsteps of Junko Tabei, the first woman to summit Everest.
