Since the age of 11, Robert spent 22 years delivering the dream to reach both poles on foot. On those journeys, he gained critical experience in teamwork, leadership and innovation and managing change in the most extreme environment on earth.
For the last 35 years of a 50-year mission, he has fully committed himself to the preservation of the Antarctic continent. With 15 years until 2041 when our world will start to decide on the future of the Antarctic, Robert brings an urgency to that mission.
Robert has inspired and trained thousands of business and government leaders and young people through his Antarctic expeditions. The basis of his presentations is authentic leadership and resilience, keeping audiences on the edge of their seats in every format.
