Teddy Keen is an artist, author and adventurer whose work is shaped by a lifelong fascination with exploration and the natural world.
His travels have taken him to remote corners of the world, from Amazon jungles to the mountains of the Himalayas to adventures beneath the waves, recording his experiences through sketches, journals and illustrations.
Teddy brings together his interests in art, storytelling and exploration through The Unknown Adventurer series of illustrated children's adventure books published in over 22 languages.
Drawing on the traditions of expedition journals, his books combine hand-drawn illustrations, natural history, wilderness skills and stories of discovery.
Teddy also visits schools and festivals, encouraging young people to get outdoors and explore. In 2025, he delivered the Royal Geographical Society's Annual Children's Lecture.
