Biography
David Anderson’s expertise lies mainly within physical geography, particularly on the topics of environmental change, palaeoecology and pollen analysis, palaeoclimatology, glacial geomorphology, and wetlands. He teaches at Eton College, where he was previously Head of Geography, and he is the curator of the Eton Natural History Museum. He has served on the executive committee of the Quaternary Research Association, on the council of the RGS-IBG, and on the Assessors’ Committee for Chartered Geographer. He holds a degree in Environmental Science from the University of Denver, and he did his doctoral research at the University of Oxford. He has published over 30 works (https://www.researchgate.net/profile/David-Anderson-153), including Glacial and Periglacial Environments (Hodder) and as a co-author of Global Environments through the Quaternary (OUP).
