Biography

Dr Dominic Walker FHEA FRGS CGeog is a cultural geographer. Dominic is Principal Social Research Analyst in the Energy, Infrastructure, Markets and Analysis unit within HMG’s Department of Energy Security and Net Zero. In Government he has also explored the cultural implications of extremism, led on high-profile legislative proposals, and produced evidence for a Select Committee evidence session Dominic has also published several works in academic journals, books, and online formats. He lectured for one year at Royal Holloway, University of London following his PhD from the University of Exeter (2013-17) and has contributed to over 30 different undergraduate and postgraduate modules. Alongside his CGeog, Dominic holds Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy and Fellowship of the RGS.
