Biography
Dr Liz Taylor is a consultant working internationally in education. She specialises in teacher education, curriculum development, training and geography education. Liz worked at the Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge, for 17 years, co-ordinating the geography PGCE course and managing the secondary PGCE and undergraduate education degree. In recent years, she has planned and taught training workshops for teachers and trainers in Pakistan, the USA, Luxembourg, Bahrain and Malaysia, as well as speaking at conferences in China, Pakistan and Indonesia. Liz’s research interests include key concepts in teaching and learning, representation of distant place and the use of case study methodology. Currently she is based in the UK, supporting schools, Trusts and curriculum providers in writing and resourcing KS1-3 Geography curricula.
