Biography

Grace Healy is Director of Education at Chartered College of Teaching. A former geography teacher, she held leadership roles in schools and MATs, including as Education Director for a large MAT. She is an Honorary Research Fellow at University of Oxford and Honorary Associate Professor at UCL. Grace holds an MEd from University of Cambridge and a PhD from UCL. She is a Trustee of Oasis Community Learning, Chair of BERA’s British Curriculum Forum Steering Group, Associate Editor of The Curriculum Journal, Series Editor of Springer’s International Perspectives on Geography Education, and Associate Fellow of UCL Centre for Climate Change and Sustainability Education. She previously served a term as Honorary Secretary (Education) of on the RGS’s Council. Her current research includes a NERC-funded Agile Initiative project on Net Zero Education. She recently co-edited Knowledge Production, Policy and Practice in Education: Social Realist Explorations of Curriculum, Teaching and Research (Routledge, 2026).
