Biography

Dr Jake Collins-May is a Technical Consultant at TNEI. He specialises in site finding and feasibility exercise for Wind, Solar, Battery Energy Storage System, and Datacentre developments. Jake also conducts Shadow Flicker Assessments for Wind Farms in the UK and Ireland and produces Independent Technical Expert reports for assets with UK Capacity Market agreements. He creates models to increase the efficiency of GIS workflows, writes guidance documents for the use of GIS within TNEI, and teaches GIS to new starters. He is also the Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) representative for his office, and the senior employee EOT representative for the company. Prior to working in consultancy, Jake researched glacial landscapes on Mars for his PhD, Master’s, and Undergraduate degrees.
