Biography
Jennifer is a Principal Geomorphologist in the WSP Water and Infrastructure Team that specialises in river restoration, biodiversity net gain, sustainable sediment management, catchment management and the Water Framework Directive (WFD). She has a particular interest in identifying and assessing environmental impacts on the water environment and designing appropriate mitigation or environmental enhancements where required. She has experience of undertaking restoration schemes in a range of challenging and constrained environments and on different river types across the UK, her technical expertise is underpinned by a PhD in river restoration monitoring. Jennifer has worked for a range of public and private sector clients as a consultant including the Environment Agency, Natural Resources Wales, Defra, Thames Water, Southern Water and Network Rail.
