Biography

Jennine Evans is a Principal Environmental Consultant and technical leader at FiveRivers LLP. specialising in river restoration and fluvial geomorphology. Since 2024, she has led complex multidisciplinary projects, providing strategic direction, mentoring, and driving innovation through Early Contractor Involvement to deliver practical, sustainable designs. Jennine’s experience spans private consultancies, regulators, and environmental charities, where she excels in stakeholder engagement and project delivery. Previously at JBA, she led geomorphology inputs on river restoration, natural flood management, WFD compliance, and erosion assessments from feasibility to final design. Her earlier Environment Agency roles as Geomorphology Technical Specialist and Environment Officer strengthened her expertise in applied geomorphology and partnership working. Jennine holds a PhD on sediment connectivity in the River Rother catchment, West Sussex.
