Biography
Jessica is a geospatial professional with over 10 years’ experience of employing GIS daily in both academic and consulting environments. She specialises in people and task management on large scale infrastructure projects and has a keen interest in identifying new innovative approaches to geospatial support across the planning and construction process. Prior to consultancy her academic career focused upon exploring the use of GIS to investigate the rationale behind hillfort morphologies. Her DPhil thesis was a GIS-based analysis of hillfort location and morphology which innovatively integrated movement with visibility. It was published as a British Archaeological Report in December 2018. Whilst undertaking her DPhil Jessica also spent nearly several years as a GIS teaching assistant at the University of Oxford.
