Biography
I am a Chartered (CGeog; Geomorph) Senior Engineering Geologist/Geomorphologist with nine years’ experience in the UK, Asia, and Middle East. I have wide-ranging experience in field and remote sensing-based quantitative geomorphology, having worked on projects in Europe, Nepal, the Philippines, the UK, and Saudi Arabia. I am a specialist in geohazard assessments and GIS, particularly in landslide, debris flow, and rockfall mapping, modelling, and mitigation design. I also have extensive experience in engineering geology, regularly undertaking desk studies, geotechnical interpretative reporting, 3D geological modelling, and technical site supervision for a range of infrastructure projects. I am also research-active. I completed my PhD in 2021 on Himalayan landslide processes, and continue to publish in a variety of international, peer-reviewed journals, through my on-going collaborations with academic institutions and organizations such as the University of Plymouth and EEFIT (the Earthquake Engineering Field Investigation Team).
