Biography

I am a Senior Policy Advisor at the Department for Transport, specialising in road transport and environmental policy. Currently leading workstreams on climate change adaptation and environmental impacts, I play a key role in shaping the UK's transport policy and contributing to high-level government initiatives across Whitehall. I am committed to driving innovative, evidence-based solutions that balance environmental and societal needs. With a background in both desk and field-based scientific research, including a Ph.D. in Physical Geography from Durham University, I have published multiple papers on glaciology and long-term environmental change. Outside of work, I am an avid outdoors enthusiast, climber and photographer.
